Great game this month!

Only 5 people pulled out at the last minute, which makes a change. So we had 18 players for the first game, 18 for the second game. A few people left before last game started and Phil turned up to make it 14 for the last game.

Lots of cash action on the side and a 2 hour cash game at the end of the night they just wouldnt leave!! . Phil and Simon booked themselves in for Breakfast at 7pm but I managed to kick them out in the end. I keep telling Andrew that if he wants to hold a home game, he has to realise that poker players like to play into the early hours. He kept himself happy by watching TV while we played poker - LOL! I think the last person left at 3.45am. I personally don't mind if the last person does make it to breakfast the next day!! But Andrew needs his beauty sleep.

Was a nice end to the day, Phil was so relaxed and in the swing of things, must have thought he was at Luton coz he proceeded to light up a ciggie whilst sat at the poker table. He was chatting away to Andrew at the time, and Andrew didnt even notice, haahahah. I turned round and said sorry to interrupt you in full swing there Phil, but I have a question for you, why are you smoking in my house???. He jumped out of his chair so quickly and ran into the kitchen (where smoking is permitted), not even realising what he had done. Was so funny. Kept apologising.

The most used phrase of the day was Luton Rules, which pisses everyone off immensely, any ruling that needs to be made, I just take the Luton Rules and enforce them. And I think if anyone else tells Tim and Jon off when they say Raise when they have in fact made a Bet, they might just flip.

Andrew must have said Unnnnnbelievable at least 200 times. Most of the time, whatever he was referring to was NOT unnnnnnbelievable at all.

Was probably the last month of the year that we are able to get the BBQ out, its served its purpose well this year, but I think we will be back to sandwiches for lunch next game.

Was nice to see Simon Ashford back at the game for the first time in about 4 months. He provides great cash action and is certainly a character.

Looking forward to the next game, as usual. Lets hope so many people dont let me down next month, if only they realised how hard it is to organise a game.
