Wow, all I have to say is Bow to the Top Pair Pavey, for he is the one true poker genius.  Tim did the only ever Cheesey Hat Trick and walking away with over 600 profit on the day, hes a very happy bunny.  Dont worry Top Pair, youll be back next month to give it all back!

We had a few new players this month too, Jeff and Priscilla (friends of Dave and Debbies and who we have met once at Luton) came to the cheesey game and looked like they had fun.  Who knows if they will ever return tho.  Most do

The sun was shining, the Gazebo was up and we played poker al-fresco style until the early hours.  Must remember to apologise to the neighbours tomorrow.  OOPS

The BBQ was lit, all the food consumed, along with copious amounts of alcohol.  All this sitting around playing poker for hours on end cant do you any good.  I dont know about anyone else but my back is killing me

I didnt take any photos this month, to the shock of everyone but will catch up next month Im sure.

We decided on the usual 10 mad frenzy tourney at the end of the night.  12 players around one table under the gazebo in the garden.  Tim didnt want to play (WTF!) but decided to deal for us instead. I decided on a new rule for the last game only.   You MUST show your cards to everyone if you bet someone out of a pot or if you bet and fold to a re-raise etc.  Basically, everyone sees your cards at ALL time.  It caused a riot.  People were betting then realising they had to show their hand at the end if there was no call.  It caused an absolute uproar but everyone seemed to like the new rule so I think I will suggest it next month too.

One of the funniest moments of the day happened to be in this last mad game.

Jokers Full (Jamie Bloohn) and L.G.F. (Andrew Cheeseman) were in a pot.  Jamie is slightly under the influence of something bad (as are most of us) and theres a lot of goading going on.  Jamie raises pre flop, Andrew calls with a grin.  The flop comes (two hearts and a spade).  Jamie bets, Andrew calls.  Gimme a heart says Jamie and straight away a heart hits the turn.  Before it even lands on the felt Jamie says Lovely, I bet 1000.  After this point I dont even remember what happened coz everyone was rolling around on the floor knowing that Jamie didnt have the flush but that he HAD to show his cards at the end.

Looking forward to the next one as usual.
