The day started with rain when the BBQ was lit! It stopped in time for us to gather
under the gazebo to eat. We were having so much fun that we started the 1st game 50
mins late 
Dickster asks how my wormery is doing and Lance says "you got a wormery with worms,
what are they called?". My reply of "worms" and Tims reply of "Steve, John, Peter
etc etc" had everyone in fits  .
I think Lance wishes he thought before he asked the question. We eventually stop laughing
long enuff to set up the first game.
So, first game set up in the garden, one table under the gazebo and one on the patio.
1st hand - here comes the rain again. We move the table inside that was on the patio
and leave the one under the gazebo (BIG MISTAKE). The heavens open, there is thunder,
lighting, hail and the wind reaches about 70 MPH! We decided to bring in the table
from under the gazebo as its nearly blowing away. So 20 mins later - we start playing
again - still only 1 hand played so far and its already 2.30pm 
The final table arrives and someone (Jokers Full if I remember correcly) decides that
the final table should be played outside!! "Its really warm out here and the sun is
out" (2nd BIG MISTAKE OF THE DAY).
So we set up final table under the gazebo and wouldn't you know it - it starts to
rain again. Jon says "it's only a shower, it will pass in a few minutes". 5 mins later
we are moving the table back in as we are all getting soaked 
A few funny moments in the first game, but one that I remember is.....
Andy "Mystico" is sat to my left and Simon "redsimon" to his left. I pass, Andy announces
he is going to raise and before he says how much, Simon is in there saying "re-raise"!!
Andy, obviously, doesn't raise as much as he was going to with his AQ. Whether it
was his plan or not, Simon goes on to win the pot with his suited Big Slick after
raising on the flop - sneeky bugger.
Eventually Tim "Top Pair" and me are heads up - we decide to play it out and not do
a deal. First hand, the cards are dealt and Tim says -"shouldn't the cards be dealt
to me first??". I say i'm fine with this as I havent looked at my cards yet and so
we swap. Tim raises with his A9 - I re-raise all in with my AJ and hit a J!!. All
over in one hand and Tim wants his cards back!!! 
2nd game gets underway about 70 mins late, nothing major happens, nice friendly game.
3rd game - ditto, except I find myself heads up with Chris "The_Ace" and we are both
all in with trip sixes and he out kicks me - MARVELLOUS!! Considering I had
my legs chopped off early on in the game, I made a great comeback so am not unhappy
with the result.
Chris, on the other hand, was
so stressed out the whole of the last final table, i'm surprised he didn't pass out!
Lets hope he's got that under control for the WSOC or we will be shouting "MEDIC !!"
Simon "redsimon" and Dave "PA007" had their first money wins so left happy and will
not doubt be back for more.
I managed to move up to 2nd place in the profit stakes and am now hot on the heals
of Tim "Top Pair" so watch out for me Tim, i'm coming to get ya!!
